Yasmin Sorte on the SOBER PODCAST

Drawing on over a decade of experience as a clinical social worker, Yasmin E. Sorte founded YES Consulting to provide families with the insight, tools and roadmap to address a range of mental health, behavioral health and substance use related issues.

Yasmin leans into her family work as a primary focus and provides the most comprehensive and individualized program of services according to the needs of the individual in addition to the family as a whole. Yasmin’s services include but are not limited to crisis management, treatment navigation, case management, couples and family therapy, in addition to serving as a central point of communication within the family and their constellation of outside providers.

Working with only a handful of clients at a time, Yasmin has created a suite of services that fills a need between traditional outpatient and pretreatment care and brick and mortar residential treatment working with families and their loved to develop a care plan that often creates traction and forward progress without needing to leave home.  For families in need of a higher level of support, Yasmin’s in-depth assessments and relationships with professionals across the country make referral to the ideal continuum of care seamless both into and out of treatment and ensures that all members of the family have their clinical needs met.

“The behavioral health industry is a bewildering landscape to the family in crisis and there are still far too many silos between providers, to have an advocate to help navigate and ensure the right questions are being asked is critical to ensuring that a loved one is getting the best care.”

A clinical social worker, Yasmin’s areas of expertise include:

  • Substance Use Disorders

  • Behavioral Modification

  • Personality Disorders

  • Developmental Trauma

  • Mental Health

  • Conflict Resolution

  • Crisis Management

  • Family System Dynamics

  • Failure to Launch
